Last weekend, our amazing volunteers drove 1,150 miles to scoop her and three other girls up from a midwestern mill, and our volunteer transport team drove over 900 miles getting the babies to their foster homes throughout florida! Following last month’s seizure of more than 100 dogs from a large, substandard breeding facility—also known as a puppy mill—in clewiston, florida, the aspca has begun transporting the victims to various animal shelters across the state for adoption.
There are many breeds, including maltese, german shepherds, dachshunds, siberian huskies, chihuahuas, poodles and shih… All dogs will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. After some behavioral training and socialization, many are ready for adoption.
